What we are looking for:
The Director of Business Development, Strategic Alliances will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth and our go-to-market motions in our top industry verticals. This role involves identifying potential alliance partners, negotiating strategic alliance agreements, and managing ongoing alliance relationships to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive vertical market strategy to generate new business opportunities and expand market share in Financial Services, Healthcare, Quick Service Retail, Transportation, and Utilities to start.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential alliances based on strategic fit, market influence, and revenue potential.
- Negotiate and close alliance agreements that align with company objectives and drive mutual value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, finance and legal, to ensure successful partnership launches and operations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within designated verticals and what impact generative AI is having.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and cultivate key relationships.
- Monitor and analyze alliance performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and adjusting strategies as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the industry verticals relevant to the company’s products and services.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
